A gift that gets eaten.

Honey as a gift is ordered most around the holidays and for corporate presents, but a good share of orders arrive for no occasion at all: somebody sending to their parents, somebody to a friend in another town.

Since the parcel goes straight to the person it is meant for, it is worth knowing what can be chosen and what to say in advance.

How many jars and which

You choose one to three jars. There do not have to be three, and you do not have to take one of each variety: the same one can be repeated. If you know somebody drinks tea with acacia honey and touches nothing else, three jars of acacia is a perfectly good gift.

The size is chosen per jar as well, 450 or 950 g. That means one gift can hold a large jar of the variety they certainly like and a small one of the variety they have yet to try.

No price goes in the parcel. You do not have to ask for that.

Three choices that rarely miss

• All three varieties, one 450 g jar each. Best when you do not know their taste, because it covers the range from mildest to darkest.
• One 950 g jar. When you know exactly what they take with tea. One large jar is a fairer gift than three small ones nobody opens.
• Two forest and one Vlasina. For somebody who already likes strong flavours and knows what honeydew honey is.

When there is no forest honey

This is worth saying in advance, because it affects gifts directly. Forest honey is not there every year, since honeydew depends on aphids. In a year without it, the gift is not filled out with something else unasked: we call and agree a replacement.

Sending to another address

We send straight to the recipient, anywhere in Serbia. Two things are worth knowing before you order:

• Write the recipient's address in the order note and tell us it is a gift. The parcel then travels with no price and no invoice inside, and nothing extra is charged for it.
• Payment is cash on delivery, which means whoever receives the parcel pays. If you are the one giving it, that is usually not what you want, so tell us and we will arrange it differently.

That second point is the only one that can cause awkwardness if it goes unsaid, which is why it is underlined here. We quote the delivery cost by phone when we call to confirm the order. Everything else about shipping is on the delivery page.

For companies

If you need a larger number of parcels, call a few weeks ahead, particularly towards the end of the year. Jars are filled to order rather than kept ready in a store room, so the quantity depends on the season and on what we agree. If you need volume in pails instead of gifts, that goes through wholesale.
